Becki Newton

Becki is a native of Guilford Connecticut. When she was 13 when she started performing in community productions such as the community theater and summer stock. She pursued a degree in European History at the University of Pennsylvania in which the course she attended several months in Europe. Becki was able to move to NYC right after her graduation in order to pursue Broadway. She has appeared in dozens national commercials, guest-starring and in recurring roles like Cold Case (2003) and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit (1998), American Dreams (2002) and got Amanda's part on Ugly Betty (2007). Their brother Matt Newton is an actor and her partner Chris Diamantopoulos. When I think of the beautiful women I think of these aren't supermodels. The good thing is that I'm able to let the professionals do it when it comes to work and red carpet events as I'm not sure I'm a pro. If it's about my beauty, I am open to trying something new. It's a pleasure to be glamorous! It's not about being fussy however, it's about taking care of your self. It's been my experience that there's no harm in being a little snobby.
