Alison Doody
Alison Doody is a Dublin native from the richest family of Dublin and Ireland in the year 1966. Alison is the youngest among three siblings. She was educated at a convent and gained a passion for the arts. Later, she attended the National College of Fine Arts in Dublin however, she left as she didn't have the drive and thought she would be able to take a few years off to contemplate the possibility. In a cafe with her fellow students at a cafe when a photographer came in and demanded to become a model. In the hope of earning pockets money, she said yes. Soon after, she realized modeling to be rewarding and entertaining. The modeling contract she signed led to commercial opportunities which took her around the world. Then, one day, a casting director was impressed by her work and suggested that she take up acting instead. At age 19, she was referred to London and was able to win the chance to audition for A View to a Kill ( 1985) which was a brand new James Bond movie. The acting was her love and she ultimately decided to go after a career as an actor. Her first film was followed by a couple of TV dramas that were shot in London as well as Dublin. However, her breakthrough came in 1989 when she was cast as the role of Aryan Seductress Dr. Elsa Schneider, in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.
