Sharni Vinson

Sharni Vinson is a native of the State of NSW and was raised on the beaches of the south in the Sydney suburban Cronulla. She was a competitor at swimming at the National Level of Swimming as an teen and set four State records throughout her time in high school. Sharni began singing, dancing and acting when she was an infant, which made her the third generation of the family to be able to do. Her mother was an actor in the musical theatre, and her mother was awarded an Borovansky Ballet Company scholarship to England in 1945. Sharni started her training in dance in The Brent Street School of Performing Arts, Sydney. She was trained for 10 years in all aspects of dance. Sharni was a senior when she graduated from high school at 17 years old, was signed to Roadshow Music Australia to be a member the group "Foxfire IV" which is an all-girls pop group, whose debut single, "Roses", reached the top 50 on Australia's ARIA chart.
