Francia Raisa

Raisa began taking roles in the acting industry during her junior year of high school, modeling for print ads as well as being featured in commercials. She was guest-starring in American Family: Journey of Dreams as well as Over There. Raisa made an appearance in Lil' Romano's music videos "My Girlfriend" in the role of Tamy in 2004 and in the music video for Iyaz's "So Huge". A month into her senior year in high school She was cast in her first leading role alongside Hayden Panetteire for Bring It On : All or Nothing. The actress also appeared in the Nickelodeon film Shredderman Rules, where she as Isabel, and in The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream and The Cutting Edge: Fire and Ice as Alexandra Delgado. She portrayed Adrian Lee in the hit ABC Family drama, The Secret Life of the American Teenager which aired from the beginning in July 2008, until the series finale in early June in 2013. In 2009, Raisa appeared on show on the USA Network called In Plain Sight and co-starred in a short movie directed by David Hennerie entitled Boo, which aired on YouTube. Raisa made an appearance on Christmas Bounty, a movie set around Christmas. She co-starred with Mike "The Miz", Mizanin. Raisa was in August of 2012. Between 2018 and 2022 Raisa appeared as the character Grownish in Freeform the show that was executive produced by Blackish creator Kenya Barris. The show's first four seasons, ending her role after the character's departure towards the end of the fourth season. Other credits include Freeform's Life-Size 2 television movie, opposite Tyra banks. In May 2021 Raisa was cast in How I Met Your Mom's spin-off series How I Met Your Father It premiered on Hulu on 18 January 2022. In February of 2022, the series was renewed to an additional season of 20 episodes.
