Leah Leah Leah Linda LindaAt the age of just five Linda Blair had to be accustomed to being in the spotlight, first as a model in the child years and then as an actress, when out of 600 applicants she was chosen for the part as Regan The possessed child who is the protagonist on the set of The Exorcist. Linda Blair rose quickly to prominence and even won an award called the Golden Globe. She was likely to win an Academy Award. But when it was revealed that some of her parts were not actually done by Linda (the demonic voices were dubbed and 8 seconds were filmed by one of the stuntmen) the dream began to fall off the rails. In the following years, Linda was offered leading roles, and even starred in the extremely successful TV films Born Innocent. But when social pressures led her to take cocaine when she was 18. She was charged and sentenced to probation and was blacklisted. Linda's professional career was in Hollywood was severely affected through the drug bust and it was widely covered. Linda is now just appearing occasionally on TV as well as B-movies.
