Azita Ghanizada

Azita is a native of Kabul in Afghanistan. She is an Afghan American who lives in the United States. Her birthplace was in Kabul Afghanistan her family fled their home country to the US and was granted the right to stay in the US as asylum seekers. Ghanizada is the middle child with two brothers and sisters, and was brought up to a young age in Northern Virginia. Her career on air began with several National Commercials. Ghanizada was awarded an award for her performance as Chiara, who played the central character in Laura Neri's 2004 film A Kiss on the Nose. The actress has also appeared on television shows such as How I Met Your Mother and Entourage. Veronica Mars, The Wedding Bells NuMB3RS Bones Psych, and Castle. Recently, she had an supporting role in the science fiction action film Blood Shot (2009) and the comedies that are independent You Only Better (2009). Ghanizada was cast in The General Hospital spinoff General Hospital that was broadcast on prime-time TV. Season 2 of Night Shift featured Ghanizada portray Dr. Saira Bhatra, a physician who is a specialist in holistic healing. Ghanizada was cast as Kelly the Prada salesgirl in HBO Entourage.
