She gained instant fame in the media. Her most memorable professional career has been her involvement with the company that makes cosmetics Estee Lauder. Hurley was granted her first modeling contract at age of 29 and has used her model for Estee Lader's cosmetics since 1995. Her most famous film work was as Vanessa Kensington in Mike Myers popular spy comedies International Man of Mystery (1997) as well as Austin Powers The Spy Who Shagged Me (1999). Hurley currently models and designs the brand's beachwear line. Katy Perry..........................Katy Perry original name Katheryn Elizabeth Hudson, (born October 25 1984 Santa Barbara California U.S.) American pop singer who gained fame for a string of anthemic and often sexually suggestive hit songs as well as for a playfully cartoonish sense of style. Perry's first attempts at becoming a mainstream superstar were unsuccessful. Two different record labels signed her but dropped her before she had made any music. Capitol Records however released Perry's EP Ur So Gay in 2007. Ur So Gay's title track was a jolly and sly song that attracted minimal interest. I Kissed a Girl, a confident tribute to her fascination with sexuality set against a hard-edged electronic-pop beat, made a bigger splash several months after. I Kissed a Girl was an immediate hit, however the song quickly caused controversy. Some critics claimed that the song was a promotion of sexual relations between men and women, however others believed that the scene the song depicted was more appealing to fantasies of males. I Kissed A Girl's mix of titillation, polished melody and a catchy tune helped it become a top-ten hit across multiple nations. This led to The album, The One of the Boys (2007) which was a huge success. Hot N Cold, Perry's bouncy and sharply-tongued album with its second hit single also proved popular. The album Perry created by herself sold more than 3 million copies.
