Allyson Felix

Allyson Michel Felix was born on 18 November 1985 in Los Angeles. Paul Felix served as an ordinand within Sun Valley at Master's Seminary. Marlean Felix taught at Balboa Magnet. Felix was aware that she had a talent to run when she was a student at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Following her initial audition she was ranked within the top two places at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200-meter sprint in only 10 weeks. Felix graduated from her high school education and was signed to a pro-contract for Adidas. In 2004 she began her studies at the University of Southern California, in the area of elementary education. One year later Felix was awarded the first Olympic medal during the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting an all-time junior world record running 200 meters within 22.18 seconds. She became the youngest world winner in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title in 2007 beating long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium in her various races during the Olympics which took place in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
